Getting major bounce back from many different email servers. I am not on any spam list either. In all the research I have done, the common idea is that it is an internal configuration problem. I have told this to my ISP, they still cant find a problem.

Does anyone have any experiance in fixing this. I have paying clients that must get my emails and newsletters and they are not getting them now due to this 554 error.

Open to any advise that is truly useful.

I’m starting with a list where people’s names, emails, and such are listed vertically. Rather than cutting and pasting into the horizontal Excel columns necessary (I’m making this into a csv file importable into iContact), I’m sure there has to be a way to get Excel to find anything with a particular symbol or word and move it horizontally over into a particular column. For instance, anything with an “@” symbol (the emails), would be moved within the same row horiztonally to column B, and anything with the word “Categories” would be moved within the same row horizontally to column C. Then my job would just be to delete all the junk in between after sorting, rather than sitting here for 20 hours doing this by hand. Thanks for your help!
Thanks, that was really helpful! Is there a way to get Excel to actually paste the real text, rather than just show a result with a formula from the other column? I need to actually delete the original source that it’s searching from i.e. actually move the text, not just reproduce it. Thanks!
I just figured out that you can use “Paste Special” to paste the values instead of just the formulas. Thanks!

where can I find the page to access even one of my groups in order to change my auto-responder setting? where did this setting come from, I’ve been a yahoo member for years, own groups and etc; and do not remember ever seeing this option. Now it is like I don’t even exist…grrr!

I have a customer list from my online business that is 20,000 strong with duplicates deleted. Unfortunatly my site has never offered a “join our mailing list” and now I have a list of 20,000 customers. I’d like to start sending out regular customer specials but I dont’ know if I can do this. I’d like to use iContact.com to do it.

I receive regular emails from companies that I buy from all the time. I’ll buy something from company a and within a week i’m getting a newsletter or a deal of the day type of thing. Always with an “unsubscribe” option. I received one today from a very reputable company saying “you are receiving this because we have had a business relationship in the past”….

Here’s my 2 questions:

1. Can I market to my 20,000 customers simply because I’ve sold to them in the past?

2. If no to question 1, can I send an email to all 20,000 asking them if they’d like to receive emails from my company. If yes, click here if no, you’ll not hear from me again.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Aaron
