One of the main reasons I wanted a Webcam was to use it w/my friends that are Deaf and Hard of Hearing and to use sign language w/ them. I JUST found this great deal to get a Ezonics iContact Pro II VGA Webcam, Bluetooth Wireless Headset, and Bluetooth PC Dongle (what is a Dongle?) which I’m hoping will be useful with Skype also.
I just did a bit of research which I realize I should have done BEFORE the purchase, but seems what I’m getting is a low quality Webcam??
Which means I probably will not be able to use it for the purpose I bought it for? = (
What’s the chance of me being able to sign with and see signing using this webcam? For those of you unfamiliar with sign language it’s moving the hands a lot in gesture like movements w/lots of ****** expressions and body movement. Some of the people I want to talk to sign fast…SO, Any help here?
I can return it if I don’t like it or if I’m told that it’s useless for what I want then I will send it back.
IF this is so, that I should send it back when I get it, are there any recommendations for a not too expensive Webcam I can use for this purpose?
Also it would also depend on the speed of my Internet? I believe we have broadband through our local cable I think….it’s fast enough, but not considered high speed right?
