Hi, I’m working on setting up a personal email + mail server but I cant find any good software. I’m running windows vista and I’ve already tried hmailserver.

I would also like it to have a mysql database.
In other words i’m looking for software to handle the sending and reciving of my messages.

My company needs to find a solution to send approximately 1000 emails at one time. I’ve searched some forums and most mention Mozilla Thunderbird as a possible solution. I also came across Fairlogic’s Worldcast and Groupmail. I sincerely appreciate any feedback from IT gurus who have used similar programs that have worked for them. Alternate solutions welcome.

I am using the latest version of outlook on Microsoft Vista & when I send emails with pictures, the email stays in the outbox & keeps sending. This is a hotmail account. I have an older (slower) computer that has outlook express & I have no such problems, so that leads me to believe that the problem lies within my new coputer & setup. Can anybody help…
